Berlin Nightclub Incident: Partygoer Rams Car into Sisyphos Nightclub Entrance
Last week in Berlin, a concerning incident occurred when a man attempted to force his way into a nightclub by driving his car into the entrance. The dramatic event took place outside the Sisyphos Nightclub in the Lichtenberg district during the early hours of Sunday morning, after the individual was denied entry. Like many nightlife venues in Berlin, Sisyphos is known for its strict entry policies, including dress code enforcement and bouncer discretion. Following a refusal from two security guards, the man returned in a rented Audi, which he then repeatedly crashed into the nightclub’s gates.
The gates, famously adorned with two kissing ducks, bore the brunt of the assault, along with some damage to the adjacent wall. Despite the repeated attempts to breach the entrance, the driver managed to escape the scene in the vehicle, which was last seen heading toward Ostkreuz. Authorities are currently conducting an ongoing investigation into this alarming incident, with efforts underway to locate the suspect.
