Introducing HARD Selects: Celebrating the Evolution of Global Underground Music with DJ Heartstring’s Teenage Dreams
HARD Events has consistently been at the forefront of the electronic dance music scene, showcasing both established artists and emerging talents for over a decade. The impressive lineups featured at HARD Summer and other related events are a testament to their commitment, while the label has also embraced innovative styles. Now, they are excited to introduce a new sub-brand, HARD Selects, designed to elevate the energy in the event space.
HARD Selects was created to pay tribute to Los Angeles’ vibrant music scene, encompassing its ethos, aesthetics, culture, and key artists, while also highlighting diverse talent from around the globe. This new series of showcase events will collaborate with prominent underground promoters to fulfill that mission, offering unique experiences for dance music enthusiasts in Southern California.
The inaugural showcase event of HARD Selects will feature a collaboration with Stranger Than;, Tunnel, and Lights Down Low, presenting DJ Heartstring and their electrifying Teenage Dreams party at The SUPER-MRKT. This newly established venue, formerly a grocery store, has emerged as a fresh hub for dance music in Los Angeles, thanks to the leadership of Stranger Than.
Set to perform alongside the duo on November 9 are renowned artists including Boys Noize, AK SPORTS, Malugi, Patrick Mason, Skin on Skin, Etari, Oscar Osorio, and OZA, ensuring an unforgettable night filled with energy and excitement.
In addition to the showcase events, HARD is partnering with Goyo Club for a series of live streams. They will take over the Electric Cleaners series at the end of September, featuring performances by artists such as Bianca Oblivion, Star Eyes, Trax Unit, and Etari at a family-owned laundromat located in Koreatown.
