Superstar DJ John Summit to Headline at Folsom Field, University of Colorado Boulder

John Summit is following in the footsteps of Illenium, who made headlines nearly two years ago by setting a record for the most-attended single-headliner concert, attracting 76,000 fans to Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. This fall, John Summit will take center stage as the exclusive performer at an October 18 event at Folsom Field in Boulder.

A recent press release highlighted that this upcoming event marks the “largest solo headline show of his career.” John Summit, whose real name is John Schuster, expressed his excitement by calling it “MY BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR” on Instagram. He noted, “From 8k at Red Rocks in 2023 to a full 40k stadium this time in Colorado. Boulder how tf we feelin baby?”

Folsom Field, with a capacity of 50,000, is situated on the University of Colorado Boulder campus and has hosted legendary acts such as The Rolling Stones, Phish, and ODESZA. Notably, a 1977 concert featuring Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, Firefall, and John Sebastian remains the largest ever, drawing an audience of 61,500.

Regardless of opinions, Schuster is one of the most impactful DJs in the contemporary dance music scene. His rise began with the 2020 hit “Deep End,” followed by successful tracks like “Where You Are” and “Shivers,” both featuring HAYLA, as well as “Go Back” with Sub Focus. In March, Schuster announced his Experts Only label would be taking up residency at Hï Ibiza in 2025.

Register for presale for John Summit’s historic Folsom Field debut and stay tuned for artist presale starting May 13, CU Boulder student presale and local presale on May 14, and general presale kicking off on May 15.
