Brownies & Lemonade’s DNBNL Event Lights Up Denver at Dave & Busters
When Brownies & Lemonade announced their inaugural Denver version of the DNBNL event just a week before it kicked off, I thought, “Now that’s ambitious!” However, Wednesday night proved they were more than ready to deliver an unforgettable experience.
Dave & Busters was transformed into the perfect venue for this almost spontaneous celebration, mirroring past DNBNL events in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The vibrant atmosphere exuded excitement as attendees navigated through a maze of arcade games and colorful Skee Ball machines.
As you ventured deeper, the music grew louder. Kicking off the night was Austin DJ and producer Justin Hawkes. By the time Andromedik hit the decks for his US debut, the dance floor was packed with revelers embracing the Belgian artist’s unique take on DnB. Following him was the seasoned electronic artist Culture Shock, who set the stage for Wilkinson, who electrified the crowd with an anthemic and heavy hit lineup.
This wasn’t Brownies & Lemonade’s first event in Denver, but it certainly felt like a significant milestone for many attendees, as they truly showcased their entry into the Mile High City.
Originating from house parties in Los Angeles, Brownies & Lemonade has evolved into a well-known brand while maintaining the spontaneous spirit that defined their beginnings. They continue to host events in unique settings like laundromats and often remain tight-lipped on lineups, as they did prior to last night’s gathering.
It’s safe to say that another DNBNL event will likely be on the horizon in Denver. If this launch is any indication, don’t expect much advance notice before the next one!
