After two and a half years of creative effort, Purple Disco Machine presents his highly anticipated third studio album, Paradise, filled with nostalgic disco vibes and stellar collaborations.
Disco music has been at the forefront of many enthusiasts’ minds, making a significant resurgence in recent years. While the genre has experienced fluctuations in popularity, its vitality within the dance music scene remains steadfast, largely due to artists like Purple Disco Machine. His signature disco-infused tracks have consistently electrified dancefloors globally, and his third album, Paradise, is a continuation of this vibrant legacy.
Commencing production on Paradise two and a half years ago, Purple Disco Machine meticulously curated this album in the studio, collaborating with various artists to amplify its impact. The uplifting essence of nu-disco—merging nostalgic elements with modern aesthetics—is evident throughout the 15 tracks that make this album a promising hit.
Several previously released singles from Paradise have highlighted the collaborative spirit distinctive to Purple Disco Machine’s work. These include tracks like “Something On My Mind” featuring Duke Dumont and Nothing But Thieves, “Substitution” with Kungs and Julian Perretta, and “Beat Of Your Heart” with ASDIS, all resonating with infectious dancefloor energy and dynamic vocal performances. Additionally, “Bad Company,” the album’s only solo number, delivers a nostalgic vibe with an irresistible groove.
Collaborating with The Magician on “All My Life,” the penultimate track of the album, was a result of their encounter at Tomorrowland in 2023. What began as a solid instrumental quickly transformed into something more when a catchy topline was incorporated. “I initially had my doubts, but after seeing the crowd’s energetic response, I knew it was the perfect enhancement,” Purple Disco Machine noted. “For Paradise, I aimed to collaborate with artists I admire, which makes having The Magician on the album a special highlight.”
Another remarkable track is “Honey Boy,” featuring Benjamin Ingrosso, Shenseea, and the iconic Nile Rodgers, delivering a catchy tune you’ll find hard to resist. Meanwhile, tracks like “Can’t Stop Loving You” with MORGAN and “Heartbreaker” with Chromeo explore the spectrum of emotions experienced when falling in love, from exhilarating heart flutters to the confusion that often accompanies mixed signals.
With Paradise, Purple Disco Machine showcases some of his finest work yet. Its infectious grooves are set to energize any venue he performs in. Listen to the album on Spotify or your favorite streaming platform, and stay updated by following him on social media.
