Arrest Made After Disturbing Incident at Lost Lands Festival

Authorities have confirmed an incident at the Lost Lands Festival earlier this morning where a vehicle ran over several tents in the vendor camping area, leading to one hospitalization. The Licking County Police Department has apprehended a suspect who is now in custody.

The alarming report first emerged on the festival’s subreddit, with user u/Lumpy_Scholar_1407 detailing the chaotic scene and mentioning that security staff directed witnesses to call 911. Although the moderators removed the posts for being “inaccurate or misleading,” similar information has been shared on r/aves, where it remains accessible.

A statement from the Lost Lands team confirmed that emergency response teams were dispatched to the vendor campgrounds following the car accident. “One individual was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in good condition,” they stated. “The Licking County Police Department is conducting the investigation and has an individual in custody.”

This weekend has seen other incidents at Lost Lands as well. A video shared on social media showed a festival-goer appearing to brandish a firearm, which the Lost Lands team later clarified was merely a water gun. They reiterated their strict policy against items resembling weapons, noting that the individual was removed from the event.

Troubles began for the festival, which is concluding today, when ticketing platform Lyte unexpectedly went offline, creating considerable confusion for many attendees trying to buy or sell tickets. The festival organizers have reached out to Lyte for guidance on supporting patrons affected by the shutdown.

Additonally, local authorities imposed a fire ban due to ongoing drought conditions in the area. Contrary to rumors, Lost Lands confirmed that no fines have been issued to festival-goers for smoking violations, despite some attendees reporting inadequate security responses when addressing smoking or open flames at the festival. Footage also circulated last night showing Zeds Dead smoking during their performance.

EDM Identity has reached out to Lost Lands for more information on these events. Stay tuned for further updates.
