Hailing from Italy, Mary Free immersed herself in the realms of Electro, Minimal, and House music by the age of 19, quickly carving out a niche in Milan’s exclusive club scene. As the resident DJ at Tocqueville, she garnered recognition for energizing VIP parties and House nights with her dynamic beats.
In 2010, driven by her love for music, she returned to Sicily, where she became an integral part of Catania’s vibrant club culture. As a manager of a local club and an artist at high-profile events like MayDay Spring Fest, she quickly achieved fame for her vibrant performances.
Mary’s career skyrocketed in 2016 when she triumphed in a local DJ contest. This victory led her to collaborate with Italo House DJ Sanny J, producing her initial tracks “Big Up” and “Tek MIND,” which gained national radio play and cemented her status in the industry. Over the subsequent years, she braved new musical paths, including Rap and Reggaeton, securing coverage on national television.
After moving to Birmingham in 2018, she continued to produce fresh tracks while touring with her distinctive sound. A highlight from this period was “Keep Me,” a collaboration with Milanese singer-songwriter Simonluca. As her production repertoire expanded to include tribal and house flavors, tracks like “El Granjero” and “Green Power” emerged, showcasing her versatility.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Mary persevered by embracing live streaming and engaging her burgeoning audience on social media. In 2021, she collaborated with Ibiza Stardust Radio, further showcasing her ever-changing style to listeners around the globe.
