Mexican DJ and producer ROOZTER has been a significant figure in Mexico’s hard dance music scene for several years. He embarked on his musical journey at just 20 years old, initially producing tracks as a hobby. Within three years, he turned this passion into a thriving career, honing his skills and developing a distinctive sound.
His breakthrough came when he attracted the attention of Harsh Records during its prime. “After years of producing and sending demos, I finally got signed by Harsh Records, the largest label in Mexico,” he reflected. “They welcomed me into their family and helped establish my presence in the hard dance community.”
Now, ROOZTER stands as a crucial element of the Mexican hard dance landscape. He beautifully blends his cultural heritage with exceptional production techniques, crafting an unforgettable persona. His live shows feature a unique lucha libre mask, symbolizing the fighting spirit of the gladiators who dare to perform in the ring.
The mask also pays tribute to his favorite animal, a rooster, which serves as a reminder for him to always give his all. Each of these facets fuels his artistic vision, manifested through powerful tracks and electrifying performances.
As he progresses in his musical journey, ROOZTER aspires to broaden his audience and elevate the Mexican scene. “I want to see the music scene in Mexico thrive,” he expressed, “not just in hard dance, but across all EDM genres.”
While recognizing Mexico’s wealth of talent, ROOZTER believes that fostering unity within the industry is essential, and achieving that goal is a top priority for him. He aims to showcase his captivating sound at major festivals like Tomorrowland and Coachella.
“2025 will be filled with a plethora of new music. I can’t even begin to share the number of shows lined up for ROOZTER! I have exciting collaborations in the works, and why not create an album?”
