Ministry of Sound, a legendary venue in London, is celebrating its 33rd anniversary this year. To honor its influential role in the dance music scene, the club is reviving 1991 ticket prices for a limited time. Over the next year, 20,000 tickets will be available for just £5.
In addition to these throwback ticket prices, Ministry of Sound will also offer drinks at historic prices every night from 10 PM to midnight. This initiative pays tribute to the club’s rich history, while also making nightlife more affordable for the emerging generation.
“Let’s address the challenge facing the late-night scene in the UK. We notice the trends, and we are not just watching,” the club states. “Our commitment is to ensure that clubbing remains accessible and affordable for Gen Z, Alphas, Betas, and everyone who recognizes the value of club culture. Here’s to continuing the legacy of sound and creativity for another 33 years.”
Recently, the club kicked off the festivities with performances by Mella Dee, Carista, Cici, and Groove Armada, all celebrating the historic pricing and the venue’s anniversary. With growing worries about the declining late-night culture in the UK, Ministry of Sound aims to keep nights out enjoyable and affordable for all.
