Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2024 is just around the corner. The ultimate week for dance music enthusiasts occurs from October 16th to 20th. The city transforms into a vibrant hub with countless events running day and night. Having experienced the last two years, I can confidently say it’s among the best experiences globally. You’ll enjoy more than you can imagine (expect little sleep) and be eager to repeat it.

Whether you’re a DJs, managers, social media experts, or promoters, there’s something valuable to absorb. As night falls, the charming city of Amsterdam morphs into a sprawling party zone with world-class artists gracing various venues. To assist you, we’ve compiled a list of must-attend events this year. This is merely the beginning of what the ADE can offer.

Wednesday, October 16th

ADE commences with a bang, featuring event after event continuing into the early hours. The official opening showcases include Nick Verstand’s latest visual masterpiece, Eefje de Visser performing at the Van Gogh Museum, Greetje Bijma x Oceanic at Bimhuis, Metropole Orkest’s tribute to J Dilla at Melkweg, and Lavinia Meijer x Nikki Hock at Zuiderkerk.

Oliver Heldens is set to light up Melkweg. MEROW & Friends and Mesto & Friends bring their captivating STMPD vibes to Chin Chin Club and Jimmy Woo, respectively. Parookaville will present an ADE Special.

Tomorrowland will launch their inaugural night featuring Afterlife with Tale of Us and Anyma. Unreal x FYM will team up with 999999999 and I Hate Models. Vintage Culture will make an appearance at Het Sieraad. Armada invites Drumcode to their headquarters.

From a conference perspective, Timbaland & Martin Garrix will engage in a discussion. Techno icon Sara Landry will share insights into an artist’s life. Tomorrowland will reflect on 20 years of success and maintaining top status.

Thursday, October 17th

The second day of the festival sees the Amsterdam parties gaining momentum. Armada is set to host A State Of Trance at their headquarters. Dolby Atmos House will feature various showcases highlighting their advanced sound system. 1001 Tracklists will highlight the Top 100 Producers.

bitbird is set to celebrate a decade in the scene with San Holo. STMPD RCRDS will host its label night at AFAS Live featuring Martin Garrix, Dillon Francis, Julian Jordan, and others. Tchami and Habstrakt will share the stage at Chicago Social Club.

Hugel presents: Make The Girls Dance at Jimmy Woo. Monstercat x Blacklist join for a bass-heavy night at Melkweg with acts like Crankdat, Kayzo, Whipped Cream, and more. Protocol will present their label night at Escape Club.

Matroda & Friends will take over Chin Chin club. Yellow Claw & €URO TRA$H: will present a captivating 4-hour set at Bitterzoet. Finally, Gorgon City will Enter The Realm at Het Sieraad.

Friday, October 18th

The kickoff to the weekend begins with MADDIX’s all-day rave at H7 Warehouse. Awakenings Upclose features Four Tet at Gashouder. Breakfast Club hosts ADE Triathlon: BFC x Nachti Matinee at Pllek.

KNTXT Turbo Club invites BONZAI at Theater Amsterdam. IMANU presents De__Verte at Melkweg. Tomorrowland presents Our Story 2024 at Ziggo Dome. LP Giobbi will host her Album Release Party at W Amsterdam.

Jonas Blue & Friends will perform at AIR. KNTXT Turbo Club presents KNTXT KONNECTED featuring Charlotte de Witte headlining. Awakenings ADE Adriatique presents X at Gashouder. Fedde Le Grand will be leading Darklight Sessions at Club NYX.

From a conference angle, Soundcloud will conduct their school program. Kölsch: In Conversation with Dave Clarke. Armada University will host Lilly Palmer & Karl Oliver. Afterward, Armin van Buuren will take the stage.

Saturday, October 19th

If you still have energy left, Saturday will surely test it. The highlight of the week is AMF, boasting an incredible lineup featuring Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Tita Lau, Wade, and more.

Awakenings orchestrates a massive night with Amelie Lens presenting Exhale at Ziggo Dome. They also have Joseph Capriati showcasing Metamorfosi at Gashouder. Intercell x 999999999 Invites will light up Warehouse Elementenstraat.

Revealed will host their label night at Q-Factory, while Seth Hills & Friends perform at Club John Doe. Sam Divine Presents: DVINE Sounds at Chicago Social Club, and Brooks will be at Oliva.

If you’re keen on an exciting boat party, Amaeo x Discotexas x Marginalia will collaborate on the Eivissa Event Ship. Hospitality will be taking over Melkweg with a night dedicated to UK Drum & Bass.

The conference activities ease up on Saturday (mainly due to a potential hangover) but offer numerous engaging options! Music Rights on Tour with Laura van Dam. Femme Bass Mafia: Mental Health and Nightlife – an interactive discussion. The Future of Radio will commence at Felix Mertis, along with exploring how to build your own Immersive Live Visuals.

Sunday, October 20th

To conclude the thrilling five days, expect a laid-back Sunday (depending on your previous nights). Parties will roll on throughout Sunday morning, with some kicking off at sunrise.

Lost Barcelona will showcase their event. Breakfast Club hosts ADE Triathlon: RADION Sunday. The offline experience The Offline Club will take place at HEARTH. Verknipt will hold their BIG Closing at AFAS Live.

Sekora will lead Chill Sessions at Andaz Amsterdam. Awakenings ADE Sunday will close at Gashouder. Speedy J will present STOOR Live at Paradiso. Sunday at W Amsterdam will feature a very Special Secret Guest. Lastly, Justin Mylo will present ON/OFF at Oliva.
