Today, Coldplay unveiled their eagerly awaited tenth studio album, Moon Music, now accessible on all major music streaming platforms. Produced by the renowned Max Martin, this new album includes hit tracks like August’s “WE PRAY” featuring Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna, and TINI, as well as the celebrated double MTV VMA-nominated single, “feelslikeimfallinginlove“. Fans can also look forward to the release of the new single, “All My Love,” which will feature a music video premiering later today.
Chris Martin recently shared an emotional message, articulating that Moon Music addresses personal and societal struggles, proposing love as the essential solution. Coldplay kicked off the album launch earlier this week at the Moon Saloon in Moon, Wisconsin, followed by a global cinema listening event.
To celebrate the launch, the band will perform on Saturday Night Live tomorrow and participate in a special Sirius XM concert on Monday in Brooklyn, New York. The festivities will continue with a live performance on NBC’s TODAY Show at the Plaza.
In a pioneering effort to enhance sustainability, Coldplay is releasing Moon Music as a 140g EcoRecord rPET LP, crafted from recycled PET plastic. Additionally, the album features the Notebook Edition LP, made from 70% river plastic sourced by The Ocean Cleanup. Moreover, the standard CDs mark the debut of the world’s first EcoCDs, created from 90% recycled polycarbonate.
With their previous album, Music of the Spheres, earning a Grammy nomination and achieving over four billion streams, Coldplay not only delivers captivating music with Moon Music but also sets new benchmarks for environmental responsibility.
