After an incredible year, Brisbane’s Odd Mob has released another dance floor anthem titled ‘Vertigo’. Following his successful remix of Sean Paul’s classic ‘Get Busy’, Odd Mob returns with a fresh collaboration featuring UK singer/songwriter Ed Graves. Graves has notable credits, collaborating with artists like Hot Since 82, Alok, Noizu, and Julia Church. This new single highlights Odd Mob’s unique fusion of haunting melodies and powerful basslines, emblematic of his signature style. ‘Vertigo’ encapsulates Odd Mob’s talent for merging deep bass with ethereal instrumentation, immersing listeners in a compelling rhythm and emotional experience that mirrors the intensity of his live performances.
“‘Vertigo’ is a blend of my melodic and club-heavy influences, emphasizing textural elements and unexpected rhythms over a driving melody and bassline combination.”
He elaborates, stating: “I had Ed’s vocals on my laptop for years but didn’t find the right fit until a chat with Dom Dolla, who reminded me to focus on creating club music that I would want to play. That’s how the new version came to life.”
