Doomtown Bass Music Festival in Las Vegas Canceled Due to Poor Ticket Sales
Last year, Las Vegas bass music enthusiasts were pleasantly surprised by the inaugural edition of Doomtown, showcasing thrilling performances across various venues in Downtown. Following the success of its debut, excitement grew for the 2024 lineup featuring impressive acts. However, just three days before the festival was set to start, organizers announced the cancellation of this year’s event.
The festival’s director took to social media to convey the disappointing news, attributing the cancellation to exceptionally low ticket sales. “Doomtown is designed to be small and affordable, minimizing the risk of cancellation from high production or administrative costs, but unfortunately, ticket sales this year have been dismal and despite our efforts, we couldn’t resolve the issue,” L shared.
The statement also clarified that B-Side and Daisy Chain, two promotional partners, were not responsible for the current situation.
This year’s Doomtown was set to feature a lineup of talented artists, including Alix Perez, Ivy Lab, Ternion Sound, Distinct Motive, Hugh Hardie, Monty, MPH, and others performing in the Fremont St. + Arts District of Downtown Las Vegas.
Attendees who purchased tickets for Doomtown 2024 will be notified via email regarding the refund process, which may take several days to complete. For refund inquiries, please contact [email protected].
