The Groove Cruise DJ Contest has officially moved into its second phase, with Whet Travel announcing that all donations will support its Hurricane Relief Fund.
Last month, Groove Cruise unveiled its Cruisin’ For Kindness DJ Contest, an exciting opportunity for emerging DJs to perform during the 2025 cruise and create unforgettable memories. After an overwhelming number of entries, they have now shared the details for the contest’s second phase and provided updates on the allocation of donations collected during voting.
Artists advancing to Phase 2 of the Cruisin’ For Kindness DJ Contest consist of Bella Renee, Celestial Dreamers, Nicolette, New Girl, Sunyrse & Derya Zor, Tequila Or Water, Madlon, Kode Pink, Arya Ara, Palmer, and Cofun, among others. These talented DJs will have their mixes live-streamed on Groove Cruise’s official Twitch channel on October 19. During this livestream, fans can support their favorite artists by donating on Tiltify, with every dollar contributing to two votes for the artist.
Groove Cruise has also announced the destination for the funds raised this year. 100% of all donations gathered during the Twitch event will be allocated to the Whet Foundation’s Hurricane Relief Fund, aimed at assisting those impacted by recent events on the East Coast. Additionally, Whet Travel is enhancing its efforts by agreeing to match all donations up to $10,000 until the contest concludes.
This initiative allows the Groove Cruise Family and fans of the participating artists not only to elevate their favorite DJs to the 2025 sailing but also contribute to a meaningful cause.
