In light of an exciting new chapter, The BPM Festival Costa Rica has unveiled the highly-awaited phase one lineup for its 4th edition in Costa Rica. This vibrant festival is scheduled to take place from January 8-12th, 2025, at a stunning new 20-acre venue located in Playa Avellanas. Attendees can look forward to an immersive exploration of house and techno’s expansive landscape.
Phase 1 Line-Up:
The phase one lineup prominently displays The BPM Festival’s dedication to house music while also embracing innovative trends. Headlining this year’s event are Ukrainian techno giants ARTBAT, Swiss melodic experts Adriatique, and iconic British house duo CAMELPHAT. Making their debut in Costa Rica, Âme (DJ set) and the enchanting RY X (DJ set) will also perform. Returning crowd favorites include the Latin-house sensation HUGEL, the electrifying Francis Mercier, and the Ibiza legend Steve Lawler. The lineup is rounded out with emerging talents like Apache and FNX Omar, ensuring a diverse musical experience.
Those who enjoy live performances will be thrilled by sets from the dynamic French artist Adissiya, the acclaimed Cobblestone Jazz, modular pioneer Mathew Jonson, and emotive artist Rodriguez Jr. The festival will also welcome back Sainte Vie alongside newcomer WAHM, who will blend rock and electronic influences in the jungle setting.
The phase one lineup is enriched by a vibrant mix of local and international talent. Costa Rican artists like María Wabe and Van Der Hansz will highlight the local music scene. Additionally, emerging artists from global electronic hubs such as Sydney Blu and Carerra & Tavares from Toronto, Sean Doron from Tel Aviv, Emanuel Satie from Frankfurt, and Maga from France will join forces for a special “Scenarios” B2B2B performance. Expect upcoming phase two announcements to reveal even more renowned talent from New York, Miami, and LA, further solidifying The BPM Festival’s status as a premier gathering for underground music enthusiasts.

The festival’s music programming will span multiple stages, including two nighttime jungle stages in Playa Avellanas and lively daytime beach parties at Tabu and Chiquita’s in the festival’s original base of Tamarindo. This new location promises a unique day-to-night experience, complemented by Costa Rica’s breathtaking sunsets and lush surroundings.
