Beginning with an entrancing introduction, “Strings” quickly transitions into an upbeat, ethereal dance anthem that enchants listeners from the first note to the last. This track is the third preview from their forthcoming album, Every Fantasy, which promises an intriguing journey through imagination and allure. “Strings” expands on their established fantasy themes, exploring a diverse range of topics that include science, science fiction, personal aspirations, and dreams. Brandi shares insights into the inspiration behind the track, saying, “‘Strings started out with the intention of creating a more upbeat track that brought some more energy. The lead synth reminded us of the X-Files and it was written around the time when all of the UFO excitement was playing out, during the congressional hearings, the tic tac video, and secret records speculation. The collective craziness of that time bled into what we were doing and loosely inspired the direction.’”
