Mexican Artist LiquidFlux Takes to Dreamfields México with an Energetic Guest Mix of Rawstyle and Original Tracks
LiquidFlux, a hard dance artist from Mexico, began his musical journey at the age of nine. Initially captivated by dubstep and bass music, his introduction to hardstyle by a childhood friend transformed his outlook on electronic dance music forever.
His passion for the genre led him to produce hard dance music during his second year of middle school. At just 13, LiquidFlux attempted his first hardstyle track, which he humorously describes as a “terrible attempt.”
During his early years, the scarcity of production tutorials in Spanish meant LiquidFlux had to rely on trial and error to hone his skills. Over time, he established himself in both the Mexican and international music scenes, becoming a key figure in the hard psy movement and a master of the XTRA raw sound. He is also one of the few Mexican artists to have a record on the renowned Gearbox Revolutions.
While he is known for his XTRA raw style today, LiquidFlux emphasizes the need for balance in the scene. “I’m tired of overly loud music without meaning,” he shared. “The global push for aggressive sounds has turned some music into mere noise.” LiquidFlux aims to bridge the gap, blending epic hardstyle melodies with the intense kicks of rawstyle in his productions.
Scheduled to perform at the Dreamfields México on November 16-17 in Guadalajara, he promises an emotional roller coaster filled with original tracks. To give fans a preview of what to expect at this iconic festival, LiquidFlux has shared his debut guest mix for the Paradigm Shift hard dance series!
In this 30-minute mix, LiquidFlux delivers a powerful selection of international rawstyle hits, featuring artists like The Straikerz, Adjuzt, and Anderex, alongside prominent figures from the Mexican hard dance scene including Velowen, Haaradak, and ABS3NT. Listeners will also enjoy LiquidFlux’s original tracks such as “I Wanna Smoke Weed,” “QUASAR,” and his latest release, “Kaleidoscope.”
In 2025, LiquidFlux fans can expect a ton of new releases throughout the year and an evolution in my hard dance sound. I plan to release a promising album with the objective of exploring the distinct subgenres in hard dance, offering a more mature and experimental style.
