DJ Pee .Wee (AKA Anderson .Paak), Noizu, Odd Mob, Mary Droppinz, Azzecca, and others join the Fresh Start lineup for this year!
As Southern California attracts house and techno enthusiasts to wrap up 2024, something extraordinary is unfolding in the northern region of the state. Fresh Start, The Midway’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration, aims to maintain its legacy of outstanding experiences with events scheduled for December 31 and January 1. The initial lineup generated significant buzz, featuring headliners like Charlotte de Witte, Cloonee, Chris Lake, ZHU, and more.
Today, additional artists have been unveiled in phase two, promising to captivate audiences. DJ Pee .Wee (AKA Anderson .Paak), GG Magree, Mary Droppinz, and Odd Mob are now part of the New Year’s Eve lineup, alongside emerging talents such as Chocolate Sushi, Friendly Fire, Shay De Castro, Rylan, Techno Tupac, Neumonic, and others. New Year’s Day also introduces more artists, including Aliizen, Don Fuego, Goshfather, Chango, JLittle, and Kazami.
But there’s more from The Midway for Fresh Start attendees. The new 888 Garage stage, a 1,000-capacity warehouse venue across the street, promises remarkable performances. On New Year’s Eve, the space will become Club Techne, headlined by Noizu, with Lucati, Dem2, and Londen Summers supporting. Then, on New Year’s Day, Electroluxx takes over the stage, featuring Azzecca, Annicka, Nardi, and Rush Hour.
While the music will undoubtedly be the main attraction of Fresh Start, attendees can expect more, including immersive art installations and culinary delights from food trucks and The Midway’s executive chef. Previous editions have included many surprises, so stay alert for more updates about this year’s exciting block party.
