Netflix Celebrates Season Two of Squid Game with a Dance Party at Drumsheds Headlined by Peggy Gou

Netflix knows how to throw a great party. On December 18, the streaming giant is hosting an event at London’s Drumsheds called Squid Game 2: The Rave, featuring headliner Peggy Gou, to promote the highly anticipated second season of Squid Game, which premieres on December 26.

Peggy Gou announced the event through a captivating Instagram reel, showcasing a video teaser created specifically for the campaign. The clip features three masked characters reminiscent of the series’ henchmen, who encounter the renowned South Korean DJ and producer in a dimly lit hallway, presenting her with a gift. Upon opening it, she smiles, and the video transitions into vibrant dance music and rave-inspired visuals.

Joining Gou on the lineup are Seoul-based DJ and producer Mogwaa and Chinese artist Yu Su. Mogwaa boasts over a decade of experience in electronic music and co-founded the dance music label Walls And Pals with Jesse You. Yu Su discovered her passion for dance music while studying in Vancouver in 2014 and subsequently established her own label, bié.

Squid Game is a Netflix original series crafted by South Korean filmmaker Huang Dong-hyuk. The show follows 456 contestants burdened by debt, lured into a deadly game show with a ₩45.6 billion prize. It soon becomes apparent that the competition entails the risk of fatal consequences.

Tickets for Squid Game 2: The Rave are currently sold out. For more details, visit the official event website.
