Breakaway Music Festival to Accept Cryptocurrency for 2025 Festivals
Crypto enthusiasts now have an exciting opportunity to secure their place at events from one of the largest festival brands in the nation. Breakaway Music Festival has announced its plans to accept cryptocurrency as a payment option for its 2025 festivals, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in the music industry.
Music fans can now purchase festival tickets, Ultra VIP bottle service, and more for any of Breakaway Music Festival’s 12 editions across the country in 2025. This move marks a continuation of the festival’s embrace of technological advancements, following its significant role in launching the first blockchain-powered music festival, Our Music Festival, in collaboration with Justin Blau, known as 3LAU, back in 2018.
We’re excited to expand our offerings and embrace the future of payments by accepting cryptocurrency at all of our 2025 festival dates. As the music industry continues to evolve, we’re committed to adapting to the needs of our fans and staying ahead of the curve. In addition to new payment options, Breakaway is also expanding into new markets as it prepares to bring the traveling music festival to six new cities. The 2025 season will kick off with Breakaway Dallas, and other cities hosting the festival for the first time include Phoenix, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Huntsville, and a yet-to-be-announced city in Northern California, which will be revealed in the upcoming months.
