Global Underground Reveals Joseph Capriati as the Latest Host for City Series

Renowned mix series has featured legendary hosts like Danny Tenaglia, ANNA, and Solomun, with the next installment set to release in March 2025.


Global Underground and the acclaimed Italian DJ Joseph Capriati have revealed that he will be the latest artist to contribute to the celebrated City Series. The upcoming compilation, titled GU47: Montreal, is scheduled for release on March 21 and signifies a key achievement in Capriati’s nearly two-decade journey as a global DJ and producer.

Joining an illustrious roster of previous contributors like Danny Tenaglia, ANNA, Solomun, Joris Voorn, and Amelie Lens, Capriati’s edition promises a captivating two-disc exploration that highlights his remarkable versatility within house and techno music.

The Bright Disc emphasizes Capriati’s passion for house music, featuring tracks from influential artists such as KiNK, Solomun, Louie Vega, Âme, and Fear-E. In contrast, the Obscure Disc plunges into the vibrant techno beats that have defined Capriati’s career. With contributions from Indira Paganotto, Len Faki, Julieta Kopp, Oscar Mulero, and Capriati himself, this disc showcases a more dynamic aspect of his artistry. Additionally, Capriati has included a new track titled “Meandri,” which will be part of the compilation and released as a standalone single.

The compilation will be accessible in various formats, including a deluxe CD edition, 3×12″ heavyweight colored vinyl, digital streaming, and a special limited-edition collector’s version.
