Detox Unit and Resonant Language to Join OPIUO at Red Rocks for “Echoes of Light” Performance
It’s hard to forget when OPIUO lit up the Red Rocks Amphitheatre with the Opulent Orchestra last May. Now, just a year later, the New Zealand DJ and producer will return to the iconic venue in Morrison, Colorado on May 11, 2025 with a brand new stage show called “Echoes of Light.”
This performance will feature some of the top names in bass music. Headlining alongside OPIUO is the talented Detox Unit, whose glitch-inspired sounds align seamlessly with the headliner’s style. The lineup also includes local favorites Resonant Language, Duffrey, and motifv.
“I am endlessly excited to headline the greatest venue in the world once again!” expressed OPIUO (Oscar Davey-Wraight) on Instagram. “I’m always striving for the ultimate show experience, so join me and The Opulent Orchestra for this new performance and production adventure.”
Davey-Wraight began his DJ journey at just 14 years old, approximately 25 years ago, as mentioned in a Westword interview. Originally from Motueka, New Zealand, a land known for hosting music festivals, he now resides in Australia. The Opulent Orchestra was not his first collaboration with a symphony at Red Rocks; five years earlier, he performed with the Syzygy Orchestra at this legendary venue.
Presale tickets for OPIUO’s “Echoes of Light” show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre will be available starting at 10 am MT on December 10, with general sales commencing the next day at the same time. Register for notifications via Laylo.
