Reflecting on the influential artists who have transformed hard dance music in the United States, Lil Texas stands out prominently. Since bursting onto the scene in 2018, this cowboy-turned-DJ has been redefining the boundaries of hard dance with tracks like “Rockstar,” “MIND SPLITTER,” and innovative renditions of pop hits such as “Starships” and “Die Young.”
The year 2024 proved to be monumental for Lil Texas, featuring significant performances at renowned festivals including Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, the final edition of The Qontinent, EDC Las Vegas, and much more. With 2025 approaching, he is gearing up for an exciting new chapter with the announcement of his NEED FOR SPEED world tour, following the release of his latest album of the same name.
The NEED FOR SPEED world tour will kick off on January 11 in Philadelphia, before heading to Canada, Austria, and Spain, and returning for shows across the Midwest and East Coast. March and April will see Lil Texas taking over the U.S. with performances in Las Vegas, Denver, Brooklyn, and other major cities. April highlights include a monumental show in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium, where he will share the stage with Gladde Paling, Vieze Asbak B2B Natte Visstick, and the U.S. debut of Mish! Attendees can expect a sneak preview the night before with a similar show at The Midway in San Francisco.
Alongside the impressive lineup for his California shows, Yosuf, DEAD X, Dionysus, Flapjack, and Rooler will join the celebration on select dates. While there are limited performances outside the U.S., Lil Texas has promised fans that this is just the first phase of announcements, with over 25 cities in 12 countries set to be revealed soon.
