Burbank Police Respond to Domestic Violence Incident Involving James Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules
Prominent DJ, producer, and reality television personality James Kennedy has been arrested in Burbank, California, facing allegations of domestic violence, as reported by local authorities.
TMZ initially disclosed that the Burbank Police Department responded to an emergency call regarding an argument involving Kennedy and a woman at a residence on Tuesday night. Upon arrival, witnesses reported seeing Kennedy grab the woman. Although police observed no visible injuries on her, they proceeded to detain Kennedy after further investigation.
While the exact location of the incident remains uncertain, it appears that Kennedy and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, attended a holiday gathering at the home of socialite Kathy Hilton that evening. It remains unclear if the woman involved in the incident was Lewber or another individual.
The Burbank City Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the case prior to any official charges being filed against Kennedy. His legal team released a statement saying, “We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations raised by the Burbank Police Department against James. We understand that there were no injuries, and we are optimistic that, following a thorough review, the city’s attorneys will opt not to pursue formal charges.”
Originally from London, James Kennedy moved to Ibiza at the age of 14, where he was inspired by renowned DJs like Carl Cox and David Guetta at iconic nightclubs such as Pacha and Space. After relocating to the United States in 2008, he began his journey in DJing and music production, gaining significant fame after the debut of Vanderpump Rules in 2014.
Following his arrest, James Kennedy was released on $20,000 bail.
