Brunch Electronik Festival 2025: A New Era in Barcelona’s Electronic Music Scene
Following a remarkable sell-out year in 2024, the Brunch Electronik Festival is set to make its grand return to Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum and Poble Espanyol for its third edition. This time, the festival will span four exhilarating days from August 7th to 10th, 2025.
The festival will kick off on the 8th and 9th at the scenic Parc del Fòrum waterfront venue, with afterparties scheduled at some of the city’s top nightlife spots (details to be announced). The 7th and 10th will feature events at the iconic Poble Espanyol, which offers a variety of stages catering to diverse electronic music genres. So far, confirmed acts for the 8th and 9th include DJ performances by the London duo Jungle, techno sensation Nina Kraviz, house legends The Martinez Brothers, innovative techno artist Anetha, dynamic performer Patrick Mason, rising talent DJ Gigola, as well as live shows from melodic genius Ben Böhmer, Monolink, Purple Disco Machine, Myd, the acclaimed Dutch DJ Marlon Hoffstadt with his celebrated Marlon Hoffstadt Presents Daddycation trance show, and avant-garde pop star Róisín Murphy.
In addition to delivering unforgettable music experiences, the Brunch Electronik Festival emphasizes community collaboration by partnering with local organizations to address hunger in Barcelona through its Social Fooding Foundation. The festival is committed to sustainability, aiming for a zero-waste event by promoting reduction, reuse, and transformation of waste through B!HUB, an on-site wellness area that enhances the relationship between the analogue and digital realms. Ensuring equality and safety is paramount, with trained staff, safe spaces, and specialized support stands for LGTBIQ+ and feminist initiatives. Furthermore, Brunch Electronik adheres to the NO CALLEM protocol, initiated by the Barcelona City Council in 2018 to combat sexist violence, particularly sexual violence and LGBTI-phobia at festivals.
The Brunch Electronik Festival represents an expanding extension of the Brunch brand, known for hosting year-round events that spotlight top dance music talent in Barcelona. In 2024, the series featured iconic acts such as Four Tet, Honey Dijon, FISHER, and Carl Cox.
