Kygo and Myles Shear Announce the Launch of Palm Tree Club in Miami’s North Bay Village
Nearly a decade ago, the name Kygo became a hallmark of the tropical house genre that captivated audiences worldwide. This uplifting vibe continues with the Norwegian DJ and producer’s latest project, Palm Tree Club, a hotel and restaurant set to open on Saturday, December 21.
Palm Tree Club is a creation of Palm Tree Crew, a lifestyle and entertainment brand established by Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) and his manager, Myles Shear. They collaborated with hotel management company Think Hospitality and real estate developer Continuum Company to bring this new venue to life.
This 115-room hotel and restaurant will occupy the site formerly known as Shuckers Waterfront Grill & Hotel, maintaining the Miami modern architecture that dates back to the 1970s. Guests can expect art deco-inspired rooms, a 20-slip marina, and an array of live music and cultural events. Earlier in December, BLOND:ISH and Jamie Jones graced the venue, and Jungle is set to close out the year with a performance on December 31.
“We’re excited to unveil Palm Tree Club and bring our hospitality vision to Miami,” stated Shear. “This marks a new chapter for our brand, focused on merging the vibrant energy of live events with the relaxed atmosphere of this historic waterfront location.”
“Palm Tree Club isn’t just a hotel; it represents a place where creativity, culture, and community come together,” said Michael Diaz, CEO of Palm Tree Crew. “We aim to provide guests with an experience that combines the essence of Miami’s coastal lifestyle with the unique flair of Palm Tree Crew.”
Palm Tree Club is expected to be the first of many hospitality initiatives led by Palm Tree Crew. Since its inception in 2020, the brand has engaged in live events such as the Palm Tree Festival and has also been involved in talent management and influencer collaborations.
