Aliens Are Back: Countdown NYE 2024 is Almost Here!
This year, Countdown NYE promises an otherworldly celebration in Southern California. On December 31, Insomniac will turn the NOS Events Center into a cosmic playground as extraterrestrial beings return for another unforgettable night.
With stunning visuals and surprises in store, the real highlight will be the lineup of incredible artists. Whether you’re looking to feel the bass drop with acts like Zeds Dead and Liquid Stranger, groove to house tunes from Chris Lake, or dive into hard techno with Lilly Palmer, this festival has everything. Major headliners like Marshmello, Zedd, Galantis, and Alesso are also set to perform.

Free general parking is available at various lots around the NOS Events Center, all of which will be well-lit and monitored for security. Street parking is not advised.
For $55, Premier Parking in the Pink Lot can be reserved through the official website.
Countdown NYE 2024 – Rideshare Guidelines:
Using rideshare on New Year’s Eve is not recommended due to high demand and limited availability of drivers. If necessary, be prepared for long wait times and fluctuating prices.
For rideshare drop-offs and pickups, use 499 W. Orange Show Rd, San Bernardino, CA 92408, which is closest to the festival entrance. A designated rideshare pickup lounge will be available at the end of the night.
Countdown NYE 2024 – Shuttle and Metrolink Information:
The only hotel shuttle for Countdown NYE operates from the Best Western Ontario Airport, providing continuous service from 3:30pm to 2:30am.
Insomniac also offers shuttles from various Southern California cities, arriving at the festival by 3:30pm and departing 30 minutes after the last performance at 2:30am. Routes include Downtown LA/USC, Orange County, San Fernando Valley, and Riverside.
Additionally, the Metrolink is available with a special $15 Insomniac Roundtrip Pass on the San Bernardino Line, starting from Union Station in Los Angeles to Downtown San Bernardino. The return trip to Los Angeles departs at 3am. For more details, visit the Metrolink website.
Keep Your Belongings Safe:
As with any festival, there are reports of pickpockets and theft. While most attendees are there to enjoy the music and experience, being cautious with your valuables is always wise.

- YES Hydration packs (clear and non-clear) with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment (must be empty upon entry)
- YES Non-professional cameras and handheld video devices under 6” (e.g., GoPro)
- YES Personal misting fan (bottle must be empty upon entry)
- YES Government-prescribed medication (must show prescription)
- YES Sealed Intranasal Naloxone

Totem Guidelines
- Maximum height is 10 feet.
- Totems must be lightweight (e.g., foam, PVC).
- Collapsible camera extenders that meet guidelines are allowed.
- PVC or aluminum poles must not exceed 1 inch in diameter.
- Decorated pool noodles are ideal for easy entry.
- Inflatables must be deflated upon entry.
- Dangerous items are not permitted.
- Totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech are prohibited.
