Collaboration in Afrohouse: AFROJACK and Gregor Salto Unite as AfroSalto with New Single Featuring Mednas
AFROJACK and Gregor Salto, both renowned figures in the music scene, have come together to form a new project called AfroSalto. This partnership marks a significant moment as they delve into the vibrant Afrohouse genre, rekindling their passion for the sounds that initially captivated them in their careers.
Despite their previous chance collaborations, AFROJACK has claimed his status as a mainstage superstar while Gregor Salto has been instrumental in promoting Latin rhythms. Now, as longtime friends, they’ve officially launched their Afrohouse project to explore new creative horizons.
The duo’s inaugural offering under AfroSalto was an official remix of Kapo’s track, “Ohnana,” released just before the new year. This remix set the stage for the sonic journey that would follow. Now, kicking off 2025, they have unveiled their first single, “All Good Things (Come To An End),” through Spinnin’ Records.
For this exciting new single, AfroSalto collaborated with Mednas, a Miami-based producer associated with notable labels like Heldeep and Musical Freedom. Together, they’ve revitalized the classic 2006 hit by Nelly Furtado, blending her powerful vocals with warm, organic percussion and melodic elements. The result transforms the originally melancholic track into a dancefloor-ready anthem.
