Dirtybird Records Marks 20 Years of House Music with Special Anniversary Tour and Exclusive Vinyl Box Set

Dirtybird Celebrates 20 Years of Influencing House and Techno with Global Tour and Special Releases

Founded by Claude VonStroke and currently under the umbrella of EMPIRE Dance, Dirtybird has evolved from intimate gatherings in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park into a global phenomenon celebrated for its vibrant energy, eclectic sound, and devoted community. To honor this significant milestone, Dirtybird is launching a year-long celebration complete with new music, exclusive merchandise, and a tour that showcases its iconic sound across clubs nationwide.

The 20th-anniversary tour kicks off on February 8 at The Den in Portland, Oregon, followed by a special event in San Francisco at The American Museum of International Art on February 15. Throughout the spring, Dirtybird will perform at Miami Music Week and renowned venues such as Denver’s The Church, Seattle’s Q Nightclub, and Phoenix’s Walter Where?House. Each city will showcase a unique lineup, featuring Dirtybird veterans alongside emerging talents from the Birdfeed community. More tour dates will be announced in the coming months.

In addition to the tour, Dirtybird is revisiting its extensive catalog with exclusive anniversary releases. The first of these is Fresh Eggs Hand Picked (Vol. 1), a limited-edition vinyl box set that includes classic tracks from the label’s rich history, featuring artists like Claude VonStroke, Walker & Royce, FISHER, John Summit, and VNSSA. This special collection comes in an egg-carton-inspired box with collectible merchandise and artwork, offering a nostalgic look back at Dirtybird’s early days. The label is also set to release new compilations, expand Birdfeed benefits, and introduce additional projects throughout 2025.

Dirtybird’s anniversary is a celebration of its past while also paving the way for the future.
