Aluna‘s Noir Fever imprint has already made a massive impact on the electronic scene since its inception. Celebrating Black women and LGBTQ+ artists in dance music, the label has become a home for a diverse discography poised for the club. Their new signee, Harlem-based AQUTIE, joins forces with the label-head herself on their new collaboration, “Ghostin’.”
“Ghostin’” immediately grabbed our attention with its lively percussion and soulful chord progression. Aluna’s addictive lead vocal perfectly compliments the dreamy soundscape crafted by AQUTIE, making for a truly memorable club cut. We can’t wait to see what comes next from the rising artist.
AQUTIE commented on the release of her ‘Coolest In The City’ EP, sharing:
This EP is an ode to NYC, to the club scene. The gheys & the gworls. It’s a symbolization of my journey and growth as an artist. Music has always been a big part of my life and being able to explore & re-discover my sound has been very special. I really hope you guys enjoy this project!
