Just under two weeks away, Skyline Los Angeles is set to launch its second annual festival at Gloria Molina Grand Park in Los Angeles. The event will feature two main stages, East Side and West Side, along with a third stage dedicated to the Arts District.
The Arts District stage promises a carefully curated lineup that reflects the rich diversity of talent within Los Angeles’s underground scene. We’ve outlined the daily performances and gathered essential insights about the featured artists just for you.
Prepare for captivating electro and deep house tracks as these performers deliver the essence of underground music right at Gloria Molina Grand Park. You may even discover the next breakout star at the Arts District stage, someone you can proudly claim to have seen “before they made it big.”
On Saturday, February 15, catch Selective Response, Annika Wolfe, Trax Unit, Shane Thomas, Capes, and OJ. Selective Response, an OC native and the head of Crisis Of Man, is renowned for his mesmerizing industrial techno with BPMs ranging from 132 to 146.
Annika Wolfe, founder of Akela Recordings and producer for the Lobotomy party, is expected to deliver nostalgic and infectious electro and techno beats. Wolfe has performed at notable events including Boiler Room’s Chicago edition in 2023 and the sold-out 2020 edition of CRSSD Festival Spring.
Local fans of house and techno may recognize Trax Unit from their monthly party series, Gyration Station, held at Homage Brewing. The duo made an appearance on a playful episode of The Lot Radio last summer.
Shane Thomas, resident and host of blush! Los Angeles, showcases a blend of experimental techno influenced by reggaeton, dancehall, hip-hop, and R&B, earning him opportunities to open for acts like Kaytranada, Megan Thee Stallion, and Beyoncé.
Capes, a resident and curator of the local series Sensory Signal and Sirens LA, is set to deliver a captivating and danceable performance. Following her recent EP release, Portal Access Points, OJ will be the opening act.
On Sunday, February 16, the stage will feature Bianca Oblivion, BAE BAE, James Axon, fun2bjane, Trussie, and Soul Purpose. Bianca Oblivion, listed among EDM Identity’s 2025 Artists to Watch and founder of WARP MODE, is set to present her bass-heavy, dance-inducing world beats that will transport you to a euphoric state.
BAE BAE, an LA-based DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist, will bring ethereal soundscapes and genre-blending sets to the Arts District stage. Their platform, NEGRESS, creates underground party spaces in LA that celebrate black, indigenous, and QTIPOC dance music communities.
Be ready for cosmic sounds from classically-trained musician and DJ James Axon, who is a resident and cofounder of Planet Love LA.
fun2bjane is prepared to present a genre-hopping set filled with breaks, house, techno, and trance, creating the perfect atmosphere for dancing.
Trussie, a self-proclaimed low end lover, will push the subwoofers to their limits at the Arts District stage on Sunday. Don’t miss Soul Purpose’s opening set, especially since it’s his birthday week, ensuring a lively start to the festivities!
