The Beatport Awards Set for IMS Ibiza on April 24, Celebrating Excellence in Electronic Music
As the vibrant summer party scene in Ibiza approaches, industry professionals gather for the International Music Summit (IMS), a crucial multi-day conference dedicated to education and networking. Scheduled for April 23-25, this year’s IMS Ibiza promises an engaging lineup of speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities for those eager to enhance their understanding of the electronic music landscape. Today, Beatport announced the highly anticipated return of The Beatport Awards, capping off the weekend with a celebration of exceptional talent.
After a successful comeback last year, The Beatport Awards will once again recognize outstanding artists, brands, and industry influencers. The awards are based on Beatport’s sales data, a panel of judges, and fan voting leading up to the ceremony on April 25.
This year’s nominees include prominent artists and emerging talents such as Chase & Status, salute, Sara Landry, Charlotte de Witte, VTSS, and Carlita. Additionally, labels like Moonchild, Black Lizard Records, Mama Told Ya, ARTCORE Records, and TraTraTrax are recognized in the Label To Watch and Hype Label Of The Year categories. Notable festivals, including Tomorrowland and Movement Detroit, have also received nominations.
