However, one element was notably absent: a full-length album.
This week, Julian Gray has fulfilled that aspiration with the launch of his debut artist album, CONTRAST. Released under Graydient Collective, this seven-track collection offers immersive soundscapes that fans have eagerly anticipated. The journey began with the lead single “Out Here,” featuring Richard Patrick of Filter, and gained momentum at Dreamstate SoCal, where he opened the Dream stage on a rainy Saturday. Now, listeners can enjoy the entire album from the comfort of their homes.
The tracks featured in CONTRAST are inspired by a pivotal time in Julian Gray’s production journey. After facing a creative block in 2023, he found renewed inspiration during a writing camp, leading to a flow of music that has culminated in some of his finest work to date.
Noteworthy tracks include the previously released singles “PRAY” and “Fate Of Us,” the latter blending his stunning progressive house melodies with the captivating voice of Midnite Amity. The collaboration with Ash Nova, titled “Don’t Go Away,” is equally breathtaking, along with “Eclipse” and the album’s closing track, “Dawn,” all of which contribute to the sense of completeness in CONTRAST.
