Renowned Dutch DJ Eelke Kleijn Prepares to Release His New Album, Connected, Featuring the Single “Watching Over Me”
Celebrated Dutch artist Eelke Kleijn continues to cement his status as a leading figure in progressive house and melodic techno. His work is characterized by deep, soulful melodies that resonate with listeners, further amplified by his captivating festival and nightclub performances. With his upcoming album, Connected, Eelke is set to add another remarkable chapter to his musical journey.
Scheduled for release on May 2 through DAYS like NIGHTS/Armada Music, Connected marks a departure from Eelke’s usual sound, as he ventures into new musical territories. “Connected is a project I’ve been nurturing for years,” Eelke shared. “During this time, I’ve drawn inspiration from a multitude of styles and sounds, both within and beyond the dance music scene. Now that it’s nearing release, I couldn’t be prouder of the entire album!”
Though the announcement of Connected is fresh, fans have already been enjoying several singles from the project since 2024. Tracks like “Stranger’s Town” featuring ZOE ASKA, “When The Sun Comes Up” with JAI RYU, “Beg You” featuring Leo Wood, “Disconnected” with Stealth, and “Another Life” featuring Nathan Nicholson have all released over the past year, setting the tone for the vocal-driven album Eelke aims to deliver.
The album’s release is accompanied by a new melodic offering from the artist. “Watching Over Me” is the sixth single from the album, showcasing refined indie-electronic elements and sultry vocals by Emily Roberts. This danceable, groovy track is a perfect fit for any spring playlist.
