Murphy’s Law Unveils New Label and Event Brand Lawless with Ten-Track House Compilation
The sibling DJ and producer duo Murphy’s Law has recently made waves in the UK music scene. With vibrant releases on esteemed labels like Hot Creations, Kaluki Musik, Toolroom, and Sola, their popularity has surged over the past few years. Now, this Leicester-based house duo is stepping out on their own, launching their new label and event brand, Lawless.
Lawless aims to be a comprehensive brand that showcases Murphy’s Law’s curation talents in the months ahead. The launch is accompanied by a four-stop club tour across the UK, emphasizing the event side of the brand. Now, the label aspect takes center stage with the release of Lawless’ inaugural compilation, Lawless 001.
Lawless 001 comprises ten tracks that highlight Murphy’s Law’s signature sample-driven house style and groove-centric beats from an international array of talent that embodies the essence of the imprint. The compilation kicks off with the duo’s track “Gimme The Cheese,” revving up the energy, followed by contributions from James View, Ryan Nicholls, Guy Mac, Ell Jordan, and others.
