Among these new tracks is the latest offering from UK DJ and producer A.M.C, known for his exceptional mixing abilities and keen attention to detail.
Today, A.M.C has released his third album, X12, which includes 12 tracks designed to create a seamless listening experience. This album showcases A.M.C’s boundless energy and innovative sound design, hallmarks that define his career. It kicks off with “Run!,” instantly setting an electrifying tone for the album.
Expanding his musical repertoire, A.M.C explores house music with “Let Me Tell You SMTH,” demonstrating his versatility while maintaining his signature heavy beats and intricate sound design. He shared insights into the creative process behind many tracks on his Instagram. For instance, regarding “Let Me Tell You SMTH,” A.M.C mentioned that this track was originally written for a Microsoft advertisement that never aired, expressing his enduring love for the composition and his unique approach to crafting house music, despite being told it often sounded too much like drum and bass.
One of the standout tracks from X12 is “Liftoff,” which captures the essence of a rocket launch before diving into a powerful drop reminiscent of an intergalactic battle scene. Other noteworthy tracks include “2 Much,” featuring the catchy mantra “too much jump up, time to switch up,” repeated humorously throughout the drop. The album’s title track features vocals from MC Phantom, a frequent collaborator with A.M.C during live performances at festivals globally.
