La Paloma in Barcelona Announces Exciting Dance Music Lineup for Fall 2024
After being closed for nearly twenty years, the historic La Paloma nightclub in Barcelona is finally making a vibrant return. Following a phased reopening over the past 18 months, the club has unveiled an impressive fall event calendar featuring prominent names in the dance music scene.
La Paloma’s fall festivities will kick off this weekend with a special event headlined by the Australia-born, Germany-based DJ and producer Fantastic Man on Saturday, September 14. The club is set to host two events nearly every weekend until Saturday, November 23 with an exciting roster that includes North Carolina’s Machinedrum, Dutch house music expert Antal, early electro legend Egyptian Lover, and iconic rave artist Nightmares on Wax.
“WE ARE BACK,” proclaims La Paloma’s enthusiastic Instagram announcement showcasing the series of events. The club plans to feature artists each month throughout 2024, except in August. During winter, La Paloma will transition to a “tardeo” format with events running from 7:30 PM to 2:00 AM.
Originally established in 1903 within a former foundry, La Paloma has retained its stunning baroque-style interior over the years, boasting a magnificent red and gold ballroom that distinguishes it from contemporary venues.
In 2007, the nightclub was compelled to cease operations due to municipal regulations, but it made a soft reopening in 2023, gradually increasing its entertainment offerings leading up to the grand reopening.
As with any nightlife venue, La Paloma’s schedule may change for various reasons. For the latest updates, including the current programming calendar, visit the official website.
