For this anniversary release, seasoned Kater Blau residents Coss and Peter Schumann have crafted a melodically rich album, channeling the immersive experiences that established Berlin as the center of electronic music.
‘The Islands’ offers a masterfully crafted long-player that extends the duo’s warm, chord-driven soundscapes across a spectrum of genres and emotions.
This collaboration is not Coss and Peter Schumann’s debut project. Their previous groove-centric releases have seamlessly integrated Peter’s House-infused exuberance with Coss’s evolving soundscapes, developing a dynamic, dancefloor-ready melodic repertoire highlighted by refreshing dub influences.
