During this festival season, incidents of pickpocketing, bag slashing, and thefts of valuables like wallets and smartphones have been reported. While these occurrences don’t reflect the entire crowd, it’s crucial to stay vigilant and protect your belongings at Lost Lands.

Alcohol Regulations:

  • Campers over 21 may bring one case of either up to 30 cans of beer, or hard seltzer, or a box/plastic container of wine.
  • No liquor, glass bottles, or kegs are allowed.
  • Excessive amounts of alcohol may be confiscated by security.
  • If bringing alcohol and campers under 21 are present, only enough may be brought for those 21 and over. Providing alcohol to minors is a felony, and law enforcement will be on-site. Drink responsibly.
  • Do not place alcohol in coolers before arrival, as this delays entry checks.

Lost Lands 2024 – Do’s & Don’ts:

Items Not Allowed in Campgrounds
  • NO Illegal substances
  • NO Alcohol (see details above)
  • NO Unauthorized sales of any products
  • NO Glass, except handheld mirrors less than 12″x12″. No stand mirrors.
  • NO Glass vape juice bottles; plastic only.
  • NO Large sound systems; respect neighbors’ requests to lower volume.
  • NO Weapons, including knives.
  • NO Generators (external); RV onboard generators are permitted.
  • NO Selfie sticks, drones, or large metal key chains.
  • NO Bonfires, fireworks, or any explosives.
  • NO Animals (for ADA assistance see lostlandsfestival.com/ada)
  • NO Bicycles, skateboards, or strollers.
Items Not Allowed in Festival Grounds
  • NO Illegal substances
  • NO Alcohol
  • NO Glass containers
  • NO Weapons
  • NO Professional cameras/GoPro attachments
  • NO Folding chairs, large bags (Max 12″×12″), or inflatable furniture.
Allowed Items in Festival Grounds
  • YES Reusable empty water bottles and hydration packs.
  • YES Small single-compartment backpacks and purses (max 12” x 12”).
  • YES Sunscreen, lip balm, and hand sanitizer.
  • YES E-cigarettes, tobacco vapes, and mobile phones.
  • YES LED lights and flow arts items like hula hoops.
  • YES Festival attire; full face masks must be removed during security checks.
  • YES Sealed bubbles (small container).
Totem Guidelines
  • Maximum height: 7 feet including pole; security may require removal of non-compliant totems.
  • Poles must be under 1-inch in diameter; no extendable or extra poles.
  • No wood, aluminum, or metal; use lightweight materials like PVC.
  • No hate speech or illegal content on totem heads; security may deny entry for inappropriate items.
