The Danish electronic music group, WhoMadeWho, has unveiled their eagerly awaited album, Kiss & Forget. This release represents their first full-length project since the celebrated album ‘UUUU’ in 2022, making it a must-listen for fans of electronic music.
Comprising 13 tracks, Kiss & Forget highlights the band’s musical diversity, skillfully fusing indie electronic, pop, house, disco, and synthwave influences. The album features collaborations with notable artists such as RY X, Blue Hawaii, Adriatique, Kölsch, and nour, providing an eclectic listening experience. It delves into themes of nostalgia, love, eternal youth, and the fleeting nature of human connections. From high-energy dance tracks like ‘Children’ and ‘Heartless’ to deeper, reflective pieces such as ‘Love Will Save Me’ and ‘Saturday Pt. 1 & 2,’ this album delivers a broad spectrum of emotions and sounds.
Throughout their impressive career spanning over 20 years, WhoMadeWho has made significant contributions to the electronic music scene, releasing tracks on esteemed labels like Kompakt, Innervisions, and Life & Death. They’ve graced some of the industry’s most prestigious stages, including Coachella, CRRSD, III Points, Tomorrowland, Circoloco, Pacha Ibiza, Space Miami, and The Brooklyn Mirage. Building on this experience, the band launched their boutique festival series, The Moment, named after their label, which embodies themes of presence and appreciation for music and community. The festival’s second edition occurred in Copenhagen from August 7-9th, featuring performances from Amémé, Blond:ish, LP Giobbi, Marcel Dettman, Mind Against, Patrick Mason, Tripolism, and a unique hybrid DJ set from WhoMadeWho themselves. The group is now preparing for their next live performance at Tempodron in Berlin on November 20th. Tickets and further details can be found here: https://www.whomadewho.dk/pages/tour.
