TOKiMONSTA

TOKiMONSTA had initially announced her Eternal Reverie album and supporting tour earlier this summer, with plans to kick off at the end of this month and travel to multiple locations across the U.S. She has already released three singles from the album: ‘… Switch It,’ ‘Corazón / Death by Disco, Pt. 2,’ and the latest track, ‘On Sum.’ According to Spotify, the new album release date is now set for March 7th, 2025, although this may change depending on the evolving status of TOKiMONSTA’s personal circumstances.

About TOKiMONSTA

Born as Jennifer Lee in Torrance, Southern California, TOKiMONSTA is renowned for her innovative production, particularly in the realm of instrumental Hip-Hop. She is recognized as one of the leading Asian-American EDM artists and received a Grammy Award nomination in 2019 for her acclaimed 2017 album, Lune Rouge.

In late 2015, TOKiMONSTA was diagnosed with Moyamoya disease, a rare cerebrovascular condition that restricts blood flow in the brain. She has candidly discussed her struggle with aphasia, a condition that affects speech comprehension and expression due to brain damage. A recent NPR article highlighted that the severity of TOKiMONSTA’s aphasia rendered her speechless. In January 2016, she underwent two brain surgeries and has since made a remarkable recovery.

While the news of the album’s delay and tour cancelation is disappointing for fans of TOKiMONSTA, we extend our thoughts and support to her and her family during this time, hoping for her swift return to the stage.
