The vibrant collaboration in dance music is thriving! Today, bass music icons CloZee and LSDREAM unveil their highly anticipated self-titled album, LSZEE. Following an inspiring creative retreat in Joshua Tree, the duo stacked an impressive array of tracks, ultimately deciding to craft a full-length album together. Having previewed this exciting project during performances at Electric Forest, Bass Canyon, and North Coast Festival, their album drops just in time for upcoming gigs at Red Rocks and Brooklyn Mirage.
Featuring 13 tracks, the album showcases their impressive range as producers and their versatility in blending genres with various vibes. Earlier releases like “FRENCH DREAM” and “DESTINY” featuring Born I demonstrated how seamlessly their styles fuse while maintaining each artist’s distinct sound. The album continues this theme with tracks such as “A.W.E.,” embodying CloZee’s uplifting essence intertwined with LSDREAM’s funk groove. “CLOUD10” offers a soulful, dreamy soundscape filled with uplifting melodies and ethereal vocals over a bed of unique bass. Another highlight, “WOOK WHISTLE,” introduces a trappy vibe, marking it as one of the most innovative tracks on the album.
Regarding their upcoming live performances, LSZEE expressed:
“This body of work is what the LSZEE live show is built around. The 90-minute set is primarily comprised of this original music, with a few tunes from our friends. You won’t hear many songs from our personal catalog, but we’ve added some LSZEE remixes of our favorites!!!”
