Armin van Buuren’s New Track: A Tribute to Vangelis with ‘Pulstar’
Armin van Buuren has been on a release spree this year, delighting fans with a series of exciting new singles. His most recent offering is a remake titled ‘Pulstar’, inspired by the legendary Vangelis, whose original rendition of the same name debuted in the 1976 album ‘Albedo 0.39’.
“In 2021, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Paris with my friend @andre_kuipers_officieel and meet the iconic Vangelis right before his passing; it was a moment I’ll always cherish as he deeply inspired my work.
Today, I’m thrilled to present ‘Pulstar’, my tribute to one of Vangelis’s masterpieces! This track is part of @andre_kuipers_officieel’s upcoming film ‘Beyond: Ode To The Earth’. I am incredibly honored to be included in this project and hope you enjoy the track as much as I loved creating it. Thank you, Andre, for bringing me on board this remarkable journey.” Armin shared on Instagram.
The newly crafted track is featured in ‘Beyond: Ode To The Earth’, a forthcoming film that beautifully portrays the Earth from a spatial perspective while honoring Vangelis’s legacy. Armin’s rendition of ‘Pulstar’ maintains his iconic sound while reverently acknowledging Vangelis. Be sure to listen below and let us know your thoughts!
