Indulge in Brownies and Lemonade: A Must-Visit Event Under the K Bridge

News

Brownies & Lemonade have been making waves on the East Coast over the past few years. This primarily LA-based collective has been crossing the continent to showcase their incredible talent. Their recent performance at Under The K Bridge might just be their finest New York gig to date.

The lineup featured an array of genres, with artists like Alison Wonderland, Madeon, Wavedash, and many more sharing the stage. This eclectic mix created a festival Atmosphere, ensuring all dance music enthusiasts left satisfied. With Drum & Bass gaining traction across the States, it was exciting to watch Camo & KrookedMefjus, and MC Daxta deliver an electrifying performance. Their set was nothing short of exhilarating.

The new venue in New York offers a distinctive experience that everyone should experience. Situated literally under the historic Kosciuszko Bridge in Brooklyn, it provides a festival-like setting with ample space for dancing and the option for 2 stages. Additionally, there’s a lineup of 10 food trucks featuring diverse cuisine for your snacking delight. This venue also boasts plenty of restrooms and comfortable chill spots to enjoy the vibrant New York night.

With each visit, the production quality keeps improving. Brownies & Lemonade went all out with stunning lighting and screens, making this undoubtedly the best show I’ve experienced there thus far.

Alison Wonderland & Madeon

Alison Wonderland & Madeon took center stage as the two headliners of the event. Madeon captivated the audience with a DJ-focused set that seamlessly transitioned between his own hits and other hard-hitting tracks. This was my first time seeing him, and I now understand the excitement surrounding his performances! His songs are truly mesmerizing, and the unique venue added an extra layer of magic to the show.

Madeon delivered all his classics, including ‘Shelter.’ His set was ethereal and impeccably curated, leaving me curious about his tour shows. Friends have said that he’s at his peak during these performances.

Alison Wonderland always brings the energy. Having first seen her years ago at Mad Decent, it’s been incredible to witness her evolution as an artist. Her music and sets continue to resonate with dance music fans, characterized by their heavy bass and emotional depth. The love shared between her and the audience is palpable.

She performed a wide range of tracks, including ‘I Want U’ and Vincent’s remix of ‘U Don’t Know.’ I particularly enjoyed the DnB and Techno segments of her set, featuring her modern classic with Dimension ‘Satelite’ along with one of their unreleased collaborations.
