Kasablanca has unveiled the long-awaited Side A of their debut studio album, Higher Resolution, featuring an impressive 11-track compilation with seven fresh tracks that showcase their evolving sound.
Emerging onto the electronic music scene in 2020, Kasablanca has quickly become a prominent name within the industry. Their track Run, a collaboration with Lane 8, garnered over 40 million streams, marking a pivotal moment that launched them into the spotlight. Since then, they have electrified audiences at iconic venues, including Printworks, Coachella, and Red Rocks.
With their dynamic live performances, Kasablanca has captivated global audiences, earning airtime on platforms like BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM. Their acclaimed single Run even reached the #1 position on BPM.
In 2023, the duo embarked on their first sold-out headline tour, performing at legendary rock venues in North America. Unfortunately, their tour faced a setback when frontman “Mickey” was diagnosed with cancer. After a brief hiatus, they made a triumphant comeback with Remission, a collaborative track with Lane 8, which debuted live at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Chile, and Peru.
This summer, Kasablanca continued to impress with a series of new releases, including Terminal Feeling and Daydream featuring anamē, along with their viral rework of The Prodigy’s classic Breathe.
The release of Higher Resolution signifies an exciting new chapter in Kasablanca’s rapid ascent, highlighting their unique musical style and solidifying their status in the electronic music landscape.
