Four Tet Announces Exclusive Headlining Show for “A Woogie Experience” by Lightning in a Bottle and Goldenvoice
Four Tet, the renowned UK DJ, will take center stage for a unique single-headliner event at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on February 22. This will be a special open-to-close set, showcasing his extraordinary talent and captivating sound.
This event marks a collaboration between Goldenvoice, a leader in music promotions, and the boutique electronic music festival Lightning in a Bottle. Titled “a Woogie experience,” it promises a vibrant atmosphere inspired by the festival’s iconic stage, immersing attendees in a rich visual journey.
As demonstrated by media shared by Four Tet (real name Kieran Hebden) on Instagram, this event will feature awe-inspiring installations. He showcased otherworldly visuals from his October 2023 performance at Cow Palace in San Francisco, describing it as “mad shit” that will transform the venue into something truly extraordinary. “It’s going to be proper bananas,” he teased on his Instagram Story.
Although Hebden was already recognized before the pandemic, his star power surged after the return of nightlife. His collaboration with Fred again.. and Skrillex on the hit track “Rumble” in 2022 solidified his prominence, further enhanced by his appearance on Skrillex’s highly anticipated 2023 album Quest For Fire. Together, the trio thrilled a sold-out audience at Madison Square Garden upon the album’s release.
This year, Hebden also unveiled his own album, Three, marking his twelfth release as Four Tet, following his earlier career as a guitarist for the ’90s post-rock band Fridge.
Pre-sale tickets for Four Tet: Open to Close are now available through Seated. General ticket sales will commence at 10 AM PT on Friday, October 11.
