“I am thrilled with the outcome and excited to announce the iconic Scooter on my label, Filth On Acid. This collaboration is truly remarkable, and I am grateful for the chance to work together,” shares Reinier Zonneveld about collaborating with Scooter.
What happens when two dynamic talents join forces on a single track? The result is ‘Mom Was On Tequila,’ marking the first collaboration between Reinier Zonneveld and Scooter. Renowned in their respective genres, the announcement of this collaboration has greatly impacted fans, sending ripples through the electronic music scene.
“This is my first collaboration with SCOOTER! It’s incredible – we were all amazed not just by what we created, but also by the amazing response we received almost immediately after the announcement. That brings me so much joy. The first time I learned about SCOOTER was from my brother during the early 90s when I was just a kid. Fast forward 25 years, and I had the opportunity to meet this musical legend who captured my attention with his powerful beats, rave energy, and exceptional lyrics. This summer, I invited these talented individuals to perform at my R² Festival. We discussed music, and the idea for our collaboration arose – everything just felt right.” – Reinier Zonneveld
Combining the signature European happy hardcore melodies and powerful vocals from Scooter’s H.P Baxxter with Reinier Zonneveld’s hypnotic style of techno, ‘Mom Was On Tequila’ transports listeners to the exhilarating 90s rave scene.
“We connected when we performed at Reinier’s festival and the chemistry was immediate. His positive energy and creativity align seamlessly with ours.” – H.P Baxxter
