“I enjoyed exploring industrial music and the vast landscape of electronic music,” Lady Gaga revealed in a recent interview.

Lady Gaga has an extensive history of working with electronic music artists. Her forthcoming album is set to continue this trend, featuring renowned producer Gesaffelstein as one of her collaborators.

In a conversation with Mikael Wood from the Los Angeles Times, Lady Gaga (born Stefani Germanotta) disclosed that her upcoming album, currently referred to as LG7, includes contributions from the French techno artist, alongside other dance music talents. She expressed her enthusiasm for collaborating across various genres, stating she “loved working with all the DJs and Gesaffelstein on my new album,” and that she “loved learning about industrial music and about all the different crevices of electronic music.”

The identities of other potential collaborators remain undisclosed. Lady Gaga has previously teamed up with notable names like Skrillex, Madeon, Axwell, Boys Noize, and Tchami. Gesaffelstein, whose real name is Mike Lévy, has also partnered with prominent pop artists such as Charli XCX and The Weeknd.

As of now, two singles have been released in anticipation of the full album, slated for a February launch. The first track, “Disease,” showcases Germanotta’s radio-friendly vocals set against a sterile midtempo beat. The second single, “Die With A Smile,” is a rock ballad featuring pop sensation Bruno Mars.

Regarding the album, Germanotta remarked that it “leaps around genre in a way that’s almost corrupt. And it concludes with love. That’s the answer to all the chaos in my life; I find peace through love.”
