Andrew Bayer and His Husband Allan Expecting a Baby Boy

Andrew Bayer is receiving an outpouring of congratulations from fans after announcing that he and his husband, Allan, are set to welcome a baby boy at the end of May.

Bayer shared a heartfelt moment on social media, posting a picture of himself and Allan holding an ultrasound image of their unborn child. In his caption, he reflected on the challenges of 2024, describing it as “one of the darkest years I’ve experienced,” but emphasized that this new development has reignited his passion for life.

“I’m very much looking forward to a fresh start this year, and have never felt more energized about the future,” Bayer shared. “Al and I have something super exciting to share: we are welcoming our baby boy into the family at the end of May!”

Bayer mentioned that he and Allan have been diligently preparing their home and nursery for the arrival of their child, anticipating that this transformative journey will inspire new music and creative ideas. Details about their surrogate, however, have not been disclosed.

Andrew Bayer’s musical journey began at the age of 15, and by 2010, he was signed to Anjunabeats, starting a fruitful collaboration with the label’s founders, Above & Beyond. He came out to his parents shortly before meeting Allan in August 2023. Bayer revealed that he felt certain about marrying Allan within just two weeks of their relationship.

This October, Bayer, alongside the first-ever Anjunabeats signee, Oliver Smith, released their collaborative four-track Be Kind Rewind EP on the esteemed trance-progressive label.
