Palm Tree Beach Club Set to Launch at MGM Grand in Las Vegas This Summer, Featuring Kygo and More

Las Vegas is a city defined by its constant evolution. Iconic hotels, casinos, nightclubs, and attractions frequently rise and fall as the city adapts to new trends. The latest development comes from TAO Group, which has announced a partnership with Kygo and the Palm Tree Crew to transform the former Wet Republic into the vibrant Palm Tree Beach Club.

Slated for a May opening, Palm Tree Beach Club will offer a cutting-edge experience for dance music enthusiasts visiting the MGM Grand. This expansive 60,000 square foot venue has been reimagined by the Rockwell Group into a tropical paradise, complete with a ground-level stage, a massive saltwater pool, 12 bungalows, 10 cabanas, daybeds, and more.

“We constantly innovate and strive to be at the forefront of hospitality. When the opportunity to create a new venue with Kygo, Myles Shear, and their Palm Tree Crew brand arose, we eagerly embraced it to introduce a unique boutique, festival-style experience to the Las Vegas market,”

Jason Strauss, Tao Group Hospitality Co-CEO

The Palm Tree Crew has been a leader in curating lifestyle and global experiences in recent years. Founded by Kygo and Myles Shear, they have organized Palm Tree Music Festivals in locations such as Lake Tahoe, Australia, The Hamptons, and Aspen, while also collaborating with PUMA for a streetwear brand. This new venue will complement their hospitality portfolio, which includes the Palm Tree Club Miami, a 115-room hotel and restaurant on Biscayne Bay, and Palm Tree Club Orlando, featuring a two-level restaurant and rooftop lounge in the Live! at The Pointe entertainment district.

“For the past four years, Palm Tree Crew has been dedicated to crafting unforgettable live music experiences globally, and as we expand into hospitality, it’s only fitting to establish ourselves in the ultimate entertainment hub: Las Vegas,” stated Myles Shear, co-founder of Palm Tree Crew. “We’ve collaborated closely with our friends at Tao Group Hospitality and MGM Grand for an extended period and are thrilled to bring the Palm Tree Crew spirit to the Strip.”

This announcement also signals Kygo’s departure from his long-standing residency at Wynn Nightlife, with upcoming performances yet to be detailed. Wet Republic previously hosted renowned artists like Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Steve Aoki, and Loud Luxury during their residencies with TAO Group.

Tickets for summer shows are set to go on sale in February. For more information, visit the official website or follow them on Instagram for the latest updates on Palm Tree Beach Club Las Vegas.
